Imara Global Fund

The Imara Global Fund is a licensed offshore mutual fund. It was launched as the Anglo African Global Fund in 1997 by the senior executives of Imara Asset Management.

The fund seeks to achieve absolute returns in the long-term through the benefit of business ownership. To achieve this it seeks to make long-term investments in well managed, growing global companies when they are trading at a discount to the managers’ perception of their true or intrinsic value.

Where valuations are generally above intrinsic value, the Fund Manager will maintain cash within the portfolio in order to protect the underlying value of the Fund and to limit risk.

The Imara Global Fund is managed by John Legat and Jonathan Chew.
