Overview

Imara Asset Management UK (IAM UK) provides European clients with valuable information concerning the Imara Group and our products. In addition, IAM UK is manager and advisor to Imara Global Fund.

Imara Asset Management (UK) pursues a long-only, buy-and-hold global equity strategy.

IAM UK is authorized and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

Under the FCA's Conduct of Business Sourcebook, Imara Asset Management (UK) is required to disclose the nature of its commitment to the UK Financial Reporting Council's Stewardship Code. The Code is voluntary, setting out a number of principles relating to engagement by investors with equity issuers. Investors that commit to the Code can either comply with it in full or choose not to comply with aspects of the Code, in which case they are required to explain their non-compliance.

Imara Asset Management (UK) pursues a long-only, buy-and-hold global equity strategy.􏰁Given that Imara Asset Management (UK) investments may include UK equities, the Code is applicable to some aspects of the Firm's trading. While the Imara Asset Management (UK) generally supports the objectives that underlie the Code, it has chosen not to commit to the Code. Imara Asset Management (UK) pursues a consistent approach to engagement with issuers, their management, and their Boards in all of the jurisdictions in which it invests and, consequently, considers it inappropriate to commit to any particular voluntary code of practice relating to any individual jurisdiction (May 2016).
